Save the Date! The dates for The 2009 New York City Horror Film Festival have been set and this year’s festival will take place November 18 - 22, 2009.

Since its inception in 2002, The New York City Horror Film Festival (NYCHFF) has become one of America’s largest and most recognized genre film festivals focusing solely on horror and science fiction. Each year, the NYCHFF celebrates both the horror classics we grew up with and the new horror films and filmmakers who created them. The festival screens approximately 50-60 films per year and hosts thousands of attendees.

- November 18, 8:00pm: Festival Kick-Off Gala at BLVD (Spring & Bowery) will feature five bands, 20 short films, complimentary cocktails and more

- Special Screenings (dates TBD):
o Blood Night, The Legend of Mary Hatchet (feature)
o Wheels Of Death (short)
