BEHAVIOR: Luck: Does it Exist? — Press of Atlantic City (NJ)
I’m a writer with the Press of Atlantic City in New Jersey. I’m working on a story for Friday the 13th about luck — why some people seem to have more of it than others — and, if it exists or if it’s something that we create on our own. I’m wondering if anyone involved with psychology or numerology is free to talk Wednesday. Contact: xxxxxxxxx

BEHAVIOR: Resisting Temptation — Freelancer
For a story for a national women’s magazine, I need to speak with relationship, business, health, and self-help experts, book authors and consultants about how people can resist summer’s temptations to cheat, slack off at work, not exercise, neglect your diet, overspend on a summer wardrobe and neglect important relationships (including friends, family and significant others). Experts should respond to one or more of the categories via e-mail. Contact: xxxxxxxxx

BEAUTY: Dispelling Myths About Hair Extensions — Freelancer
For a story for a national hair salon trade magazine, I need to speak with salon owners and hair stylists about “Dispelling Myths About Hair Extensions.” Too many people have heard horror stories about bad hair extensions. This story will instruct stylists about how hair extensions should be applied, and how, if done properly, they can really benefit the client, and help achieve the look they have long been searching for. If interested in participating in the story, please answer the below questions and include your name, title, salon address, and phone number/Web site. 1) Why do you think there are so many myths about hair extensions? 2) Can they turn out completely wrong? 3) Where and how can a stylist learn to do hair extensions? 4) Can you give a few tips on how a salon patron would know if someone is experienced in hair extensions? 5) Is there a special technique that will ensure extensions come out the way the client wants? 6) Is there anything else clients and stylists should know about hair extensions?
