NEW YORK, NY - December 2, 2008 — SingleEdition.com, a lifestyle company that delivers programming, content and tools exclusively for singles, today unveiled a new Canadian site SingleEdition.ca in partnership with Canoe.ca, one of Canada’s largest online destinations.

SingleEdition.ca is a Canadian-specific version of the popular American web site SingleEdition.com that launched in December 2007. SingleEdition.ca will feature Canadian-specific content for singles, including lifestyle news and practical tips for living single all across Canada, spotlight features and profiles of real Canadian singles, interviews and tips from top Canadian chefs, as well as “just for one” products available in Canada.

Canoe.ca will syndicate the news and information from SingleEdition.ca to hundreds of online and print outlets across the country. There will also be a free weekly e-newsletter available with a Canadian focus delivered directly to readers’ inboxes.

“According to the 2006 Census more than half of Canadian adults are single and this is a population you just can’t ignore - however, the majority of information available to singles as a group focuses on one topic only: dating,” said Sherri Langburt, Montreal-native and founder of SingleEdition. “As a native Canadian, I know that SingleEdition will help singles in this country - I created the site to empower singles and to provide information on lifestyle topics would be given from a single person’s perspective.”
