from PRWeek: Interview with Craig Newmark

There was a time not too long ago when literally everything in my life was as a direct result of Craigslist: my apartment and many of its contents, my job, and even my then-boyfriend (in a roundabout way).  And so, when I had the pleasure of meeting Craig Newmark at a Webby Awards event in 2005, I told him of his profound influence on my life and he said,”You don’t know how often I hear that!” I believe it, but it does boggle the mind to think about how much we (all) get or have gotten from Craigslist over the years.
