2008 American Business Award Winners Revealed

Last night was the 6th Annual American Business Awards gala ceremony here in New York. 

Dozens of winners were named in categories from “Best Executive” and “Best Overall Company” to “Best Business Blog” and “Most Innovative Company.” 

According to the press release, there was a focus on “green” business at this year’s event:  In a nod to corporate America’s focus on environmental issues, many of the 2008 winners reflect a strong emphasis on “green,” including agricultural giant Monsanto (Most Innovative Company), the recycling program of the Philadelphia Eagles (Best Corporate Environmental Responsibility Program) and the smart building and energy company Energy Control, Inc. (Best Overall Company - Up to 100 Employees).
