Stevie Awards Announce 2008 Call for Entries

The 2008 American Business Awards (aka The Stevie Awards) announced its Sixth Annual Call for Entries today….

The American Business Awards honor businesses and individuals in all industries, and accepts entries in dozens of categories, including Best Executive, Best Overall Company, and - new for 2008 - Best Environmental Responsibility Program.  The deadline for entries is March 31. The awards will be presented at a gala and nationally broadcast ceremony in New York City on June 12, 2008.

Why is it called The “Stevie” Award?  The awards were nicknamed the Stevie for the Greek word “crowned.”
